Wow! This book took me completely by surprise! I didn’t think I was much of a fantasy reader but this book changed my mind. After reading A Court of Thorns and Roses, I immediately ordered the rest of the series.
Sarah J. Maas creates an exciting and well-rounded universe in which Feyre and Tamlin live. The history and origins of the characters create a clear and gripping plot that transports you into their world. I love the way that this is not only a romance but a fantasy adventure with lots of twists and turns. It is a great interpretation of the “enemies to lovers” plotline with lots of heart-stopping moments.
This book made me gasp, smile and cry. It’s exciting, powerful and sexy. A rollercoaster of emotions! I can’t wait to see what the next books have in store.
